What happened between Merlin and Cenred? I'm so confused.

Absolutely right about this 4th bit. Most assuredly necessary and perfectly encapsulating. It does so much to bring this story above the other "reincarnation" stories.

This was an excellent chapter and it did bring closure to both Merlin and Arthur allowing the process of healing and reconciliation in a way that would not be possible for them before.

Merlin had to open up and apparently, Arthur had some healing to do as well. I like the way you completed this.

You also did a remarkable job in the scene between Merlin and Arthur where Merlin had to open up about his past lives. That was intense and emotional. I had to reread a few times and read past it not to miss anything. That was awesome.

I like the way you brought all of the characters together in parts and showed what would happen now to Arthur's company and dealings. Not to mention the proposal and Arthur's final farewell to Uther.

This was an excellent story. You should be proud of the work you did with it. Do not stop writing Merthur fics. You do an awesome job with it.

I do like the way you closed it but I can tell that it would have been nice if you added a little more to it. Like the return to work. Like a heart to heart between Merlin and Arthur. He needs to open up and share more about what he went through to deal. Merlin was completely broken. I would love to see Arthur help him deal with that.

Arthur was also dealing with things as well. I would have loved to see them both heal. Their friends, their jobs. Restoring things back at work. Arthur may not have had a big battle but I think in this life you were right and Merlin was right, the battle to conquer was healing Merlin and restoring him back to his rightful self. I would have liked to have seen the stages of that.

This is such a beautiful story. You really brought out the angst, the intensity, and the emotions in the characters.

You did ask if we would like to see more, it would be nice to see the things that I mentioned.

This was a really deep, emotional, and and intense chapter. I loved it.

I liked the way Arthur was attempting to woo Merlin at first.
When Merlin started saying that he controlled his emotions and when he mentioned that he did not get angry it started making me think that by remaining that controlled he probably was blocking out his past life and feelings.
Kissing Arthur and feeling those emotions at the charity event seemed to unlock those emotions. Then his magic.
It was sad to see that Merlin felt that much pain to not want to live through it anymore. I am so happy that Arthur got to see it and also understands his destiny, his bond with Merlin.

It was the real Merlin that left Arthur's office and it was he that showed up at his home. The intensity in that change was incredulous.

I am so looking forward to the next chapter. Please post again soon.

I like your set-up! I haven't read a reincarnation fic quite like this before, so I'm looking forward to it.

This was a nice beginning to the sounds of a nice story. I like a calm, cool, collective, and smart Merlin and Arthur already stated that he was attractive.

I liked the interaction between Merlin, Arthur, and Morgana as well.

Cenred even played a part and I liked reading about some of the original gang as well. Looking forward to seeing it all put together.
