This was so fucked up but in the best possible way. I'm used to 4kids Marik & Bakura, so it was amazing to read them doing seriously dark stuff. Truly loved how the gods themselves were in an uproar over their blasphemy. And I'm honestly not a huge smut fan, but the way you write the sexy stuff with such brutal emotion and spot on characterization... it ends up reading like poetry. You need to write a novel or something.

This was a little unexpected. If it really was written by the real little kuriboh, Im surprised at how creepy this fic was.

This... this hurts my heart a like a climactic dislocated shoulder. It's very well written and faithful to the dark, vengeful nature of the canon characters (aside from the fact that I really can't imagine canon Yami Bakura with a sex drive of any kind). Nonetheless, my soppy romantic's heart much prefers the love-as-redemption underpinnings of your YGOTAS thiefshipping. I mean, who doesn't want to believe a character as damaged as Yami Bakura could come back to the light (emphasis on come), especially in the arms of a sexy bronze-bootied soulmate. As such, I will now try to forget "Love Is Violence" in favor of remembering Bakura cradling Marik after a Melvin session. *sniffle* All the feels!

As an aside, I would like to thank you, LittleKuriboh. This story, plus the two other Bakura/Marik ones, are the first Fan Fic I've ever read. I don't know how it happened, but I've suddenly become obsessed with both the Yugioh anime and YGOTAS. Okay, I do know how it happened, but we're not getting into that darkness here. Suffice to say, I'm 15 years late to the party, but I did make it (and I brought the good cheese!) Tonight, while jonesing for new YGO related fix, I stumbled upon your Fic. I read all the way through the funny and touching C-Town story before realizing it was LK once again tugging my emotion strings. You clever, sneaky, prolific and talented bastard. I understand you're struggling with your own stuff right now, but you nonetheless bring daily joy to so many. May it come back to you infinityfold... and without the need for burning ancient corpses! :)

This is a fantastically horrific piece of work: well written, dark, willing to explore hatred to its most sickening extremes... To be honest, I really don't like reading about sex and I skimmed most of the sexual stuff, but the mixture of sex with defiling the tomb was thematically appropriate, disturbing as it may be.

I feel sorry for Ryou Bakura, when he wakes up and starts feeling the abuse his body suffered during this. Not to mention the emotional scars if he ever found out what the spirit possessing his body has done to the body of one of his friends. I'm also rather concerned for Yami... thanks to MyAibou's "Identity" series, I know exactly what it means in Egyptian mythology to have one's body desecrated, and the idea of the Pharaoh's soul being unable to rest in the afterlife is a monumentally depressing one.

This story isn't listed as complete. I wonder if you had any intention of adding to it? I realize you're incredibly busy and I'm not exactly hopeful for a story that hasn't been updated for over a year, but I would like it if you continued. This is an extremely good story, so much so that I would spend much more time praising it if I wasn't convinced that you're not actually going to read this, considering that you are busy and there are already 51 other reviews to tell you how good it is and I'm sure you wouldn't want to read a ridiculously long review.

Instead, I'll resist the temptation and just thank you for this... well I can't exactly say "wonderful" story, but for this unforgettable, dark, engrossing read. And good luck, whether it be on writing or making videos.
