This is hands-down THE BEST Castle fanfic I've ever read - and I've read some truly fantastic ones, it's up against serious competition. Thank you so much for sharing this magnificent epic journey! :) *hugs*

I especially loved the team-up between Victoria and Rick in the early chapters. So much so, in fact, that I have a request...

...could you please consider writing a story set after 3x24, after Kate has left town for her recovery? The basic idea is that Victoria is new at the Twelfth, and she doesn't know what to make of the resident mystery writer ride-along / tag-along; however, Roy Montgomery was an old friend of hers, and she knows he wouldn't put up with a celebrity nuisance no matter what sort of connections said celebrity had, so she decides to give Rick a fair shake - and take him on as her partner. If she's satisfied that he's a genuine help to her precinct, then she'll arrange paperwork for him to function as an official unpaid volunteer consultant to the NYPD, along with the necessary bumpf to authorise him to carry a pistol and make arrests; if not, she'll kick him out. As things turn out, Castle impresses her - so much so that while officially the Twelfth can't investigate Kate's shooting (due to the trail turning cold) she gives discreet sanction to an unofficial investigation run by Rick, Javier, Kevin and herself (and Kate, when she returns) in their spare time. In the process, Victoria and Rick share a bit of a 'bromance' (albeit one where one of the 'bros' is a girl). ...what do you think?

Loved it. Took me a few days to read this. Started reading this a few years back then forgot all about it. Then reread it.

This was quite the involved and detailed story. You did a very good job with it. Thank you for all of your time and effort.

Overall very good chapter. I am glad they are back safe and sound and back to work next week. I am also glad the loft has pretty much been restored while they were hidden away. JMO I thought the Eric Vaughn segment could have been skipped but if all threats were supposed to be taken away then maybe I am wrong about that.

I am assuming it was Rita that took out Court. I am glad the extended Castle family can now return home from their temporary exile. Very good chapter.

Very interesting chapter. I was surprised that the proposal finally took place at the 12th in a locked conference room. The even further wide scope of Bracken's misdeeds truly is astounding. I was interested to find out that James Court may not escape unscathed.

I guess I should have been keeping score. At least at the moment all of the Castle/Beckett clan seem to be okay, including Clair. Apparently Court's plan with the Chinese couple was to blow Castle's building sky high..Thank heavens they failed and are now dead or well on their way. Rick's father took care of the 5 who had been the original snipers and their companions. From what they found in the bag in the stairwell that may well have been Tyson if I am reading this correctly. Matthew Weston and friend may or may not be okay. McCord is definitely gone. Talk about jam packed destruction!

Well there certainly was a lot of destruction. I am glad Kate, Rick, Alexis, Martha, Val. Jim and Claire are okay. I do wonder what the Koreans were planning to do at their building. I also wonder who was the attacker in the stairwell? I hope Jane will recover. I was not unhappy to see Vulcan Simmons and Jeff Beasley go.

From what I can determine Hunt and Rita are on their way. I hope McCord and her team can get to Matthew Weston and his friend and bring him back to safety so he can tell them his story. At the end I only hope Vulcan Simmons and his crew will not be the "winners".

Very good and quite intense chapter. It looks like most of the players are in place. I expect there will be a lot of bloodshed. I hope once again not people I have come to care about. Good way to put the elephants in play.

I guess my only question is will Kate get to concentrate/take the exam before everything hits the fan? I hope none of the people I have come to care about are hurt too badly. I am also disappointed they are having trouble connecting Bracken to murder but I assume that his to make his retaliation that more intense.
