bookgirl113 chapter 8 . 5/28/2016 Well then. This mother clearly isn't very smart. See, however much you hate it, Tony did a mercy killing. Now she's torturing all these innocent people who have family of their own, and are someone else's son or daughter. Just cuz you don't like hearing it doesn't mean it isn't true. She's murdering without a legit reason, and that's why Tony will always be better than her, |
bookgirl113 chapter 7 . 5/28/2016 Fuck toy, Gibbs. That was not necessary, no matter how much you wanted to know, and you crossed too many lines with that betrayal- even if he forgives you. Also side note, I'm pretty sure the killer is Zohura's sister, but does family seeking revenge EVER consider that maybe their dead loved one wouldn't want them to act this evil?! |
bookgirl113 chapter 6 . 5/28/2016 Damn, this person's got issues. |
Guest chapter 9 . 2/19/2016 Sorry to hear about your daughter, I hope everything has imported for the pair of you over the years. You are an excellent writer and I hope you are still writing if only as an outlet for the stress of life. For anyone that's interested, he's how I imagine the end to this story: Next chapter, Tim finds out about Lily's involvement with the terrorists (he'd run a background check) and figures out she was in contact with Ada. He finds out lily was renting a house in a rural area. At the same time, he gets a hit on a trace on Tony's phone gps, which is outside that property. They rush to find him, and Jake insists that Gibbs leg him go along. The next scene, Tony comes around and finds himself tied up next to Dale. Lily is dead at her feet. He thinks about how he hopes Gibbs finds him soon - we find out he had hiden his phone in a bush outside the house before he entered. He gets to talking with Ada, after he spots her sitting and running the necklace through her hands. "She was a special girl. She pulled me through the worst of what happened there. She asked to die, Jake had told us both she wouldn't make it. She gave me that, said she always wanted me to remember her. I could never forget her." Ada jumps up and cocks a gun at Tony. "Be quiet. (Menacing).you don't get to talk about her! You don't get to lie!" She knocks Tony on the head with the gun. He passes out. Another voice speaks "he's not lying". Cue chapter change The speaker is jake, who's Coke in unarmed. Ada turns and comments that he is. Lily had told her that her daughter had been killed in cold blood. And now he would die too. "And you believed her? She betrayed her country for money, what makes you believe she wouldn't lie to you for her own gain?" "She understands. She told me about losing her baby sister. She was helping her family. She wouldn't lie to me." "What did she tell you? Did she say the us military was responsible for her kidnapping, and that Tony killed her, for his own fun? Did she say my unit was involved in everything? She lied. Tony and I didn't kidnap her. We were prisoners too. Tony and Zohura were friends. We were tortured to, it was the taliban, not the United States military." Ada is uncertain now. "No, she said..." Gibbs interrupts, gun pointed at Ada. "You saw Zohuras autopsy report, I know you did. Otherwise you wouldn't know which torture techniques to use on your victims. You know she wouldn't have survived. You want proof therefore not lying? Here, read their medical records from when they was escaped." He tossed a file to her... She kept the gun on Tony, who suddenly groaned - he's coming around. She picks up the file and reads about the torture that was evident on both Jake and Tony's bodies. "No, no, no, what have I done? what have I done. It's exactly the same. You were held together?" She lets dale and Tony down as she speaks. As she hugs Tony, she finds his dog dog tags, and recognises her daughters work in the clay figure attached. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. You were together, you cared for her. You really did never forget her. I'm sorry" Tony whispers "she got me through. She was never forgotton". Gibbs comes and pulls Ada up... Tony looks up and whispers to Gibbs "boss.." Before he passes out from blood loss again. Chapter change - epilogue, 2 months later. Tony is in a therapy session with Rachel Cranston - he's been seeing her twice a week for the last two months in order to come up with new methods to cope with his past as POW and to meld his two lives together. Vance wouldn't allow him back into the field until Cranston cleared him. Today is the day Rachel as finally agreed to clear him for field work, although he will still be seeing her once a week for the foreseeable future. Rachel says she's proud of him, but there's still work ahead. Tony's states that he knows. As Tony leaves and makes his way to the NCIS offices, he reflects on how his life as changed since his lives collided with Ada's case. He acknowledges his military past now - he had no choice. He got his military records changed back into his name, at the urging of Rachel, Gibbs, Jake and surprisingly Vance. He's back in contact with his platoon, and is even going out for dinner with Jake and a few others who are in the Washington area tomorrow night. He'd gone to the funerals for his murdered brothers, and was surprised when their families welcomes him with open arms - particularly Michaels, who's wife said she missed him, and that mike loved him. She tells him not to be a stranger. He promises not to be. Is relationship with Gibbs is closer, as he's helped Tony to come to terms with his past, and he's been an even better sounding board than usual for the last two months. He no longer tries to hide himself off from the NCIS team as much as he used to. He still likes a joke, but he doesn't use it as a defence mechanism. He's more serious - the strong and silent Tony the marines knew is seen more often. Unlike in the past, Tony has reconciled his past, and is the same person for both NCIS and his platoon. Outside of his team, his NCIS colleagues are surprised at his change, and the fact that he was a marine and he was a pow was a water cooler conversation topic for weeks, buts it died down again as people accept Tony for how he is, without the clown mask. He walks into NCIS and returns to the bullpen. Gibbs glances at him. "How'd it go today?" Tony replies: "she reduced the sessions to once a week." He grins "and she cleared me for active field duty." Gibbs looks up at tha and gives a wry grin. Tim and Ziva are more exuberant in the happiness. "That's great Tony" (Tim) "that is indeed excellent news Tony" (Ziva). They plan to go out for drinks after work. At that moment, Vance walks in. "Agent DiNozzo. I just got a call from Dr Cranston. Welcome back. I thought I'd come back and tell you and the team in person. You've got a case. One of the platoons at (insert high profile marine base here) is suspected of running a drug smuggling operation, the platoon involved just came back from a tour of duty. Unfortunately, the admiral won't allow anyone to speak to them. We need a couple of marines to go down there." Tony grins and looks at Gibbs. Gibbs give his wry half smile again. "Once a marine, always a marine DiNozzo. What are you lot waiting for? Grab your gear!." All three agents smile and respond with "yes boss" (McGee) "on it boss" (Tony) "of course Gibbs" (Ziva). Tony grabs his gear and follows Gibbs - at an angle - to the elevator. He thinks back to Rachel's comments and agrees. He's still got a lot of work to do, but he's getting there. hes got his family, both at NCIS and his marine brothers, and he's nearly at peace with his marine past. ... Actually... I just got a few new ideas from this... |
Nessa2685 chapter 9 . 3/30/2015 I wish you would finish this, because only the original author can keep a story going in exactly the same way it was going, but we all get why you don't want to. We wish you and the little angl all the best and pray for her to stay happy and healthy. |
kdarnell2 chapter 9 . 3/21/2015 I just found this fic, so forgive me if this response upsets you. I Love this story and completely understand any hiatus that you needed. I have noticed that you have picked up writing again and was wondering if you might continue Left Behind as it seems almost complete, anyway. As little as 2 chapters would probable do it if handled correctly and, by the way the rest of the story has gone, I can't see you doing otherwise. |
Monchele1357 chapter 9 . 3/16/2015 I love this story please update soon. |
