Absolutely heart-wrenching

That has to be one of the saddest things I've ever read.
I don't mean that in a bad way though. It was just so emotional.
I don't really know what to say, I just thought this deserved a review and I thought I'd let you know you did an excellent job.

How sad. I don't mind the depressing ones, they are usually very good. Like this one was. I liked that you used Thorin's point of view. It gave the fIc a certain grim mood you'd only get with him. Loved it, you're writing is great.

NOOOOOO, IN DURIN'S NAME, WHYYYY ? I'm crying. Seriously, this is the most depressing thing I've ever read. It's so well-written, I could just *see* the scene in my head. You captured Thorin's guilt and emotions so perfectly... I love it ! (I think I'll have to go and see the third "Hobbit" movie alone, because I'll be such a sobbing mess that it'll be terribly embarrassing.)

Anyway - thanks a lot for this very beautiful and heart-wrenching story. It's brilliant. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go to bed and sob.
