I sincerely adore this story, because they was supposed to have this kind of special bond and loved each other! Soooooo Beautiful ! Well done

Yeah, re-reading - staying in my comfort zone and turning to trusted authors. Which is hardly a bad thing given life is short, and I choose to enjoy the things I know I will. I honestly don't know what to do with myself now that I read the last untouched story the other day, I guess I'll come back to feel fuzzy every once in a while. I can't tell if I really grew up, something happened (in real life) a little after I got wrapped up in reading stories online that made me actually distance myself from reality and I haven't really recovered. But knowing I can come back to dance classes, or strawberries, or short-lived engagements and feel some sort of bliss again is something to treasure. Getting to slip away for a bit with fiction like I used to do before my perspective on the world was irreversibly disturbed... it feels like coming home. It's nice. And maybe one day, I can learn to heal, or let myself be helped by others, to heal. And hopefully it won't involve slaying synthetic people.

Im not even a fan of Gale/Katniss but this is amazing. Wow!

This was such an amazing oneshot! Their personalities really shined through in this, in a way that other fanfics don't. This was very, very well written! Please keep writing more! Loved it! xx

I'm completely in love with this oneshot. It captured their characters beautifully.

I feel weird reviewing to this story that's over 2 years old, but I really just need to express my emotions. The whole thing was just perfect that I can't even think of an adjective to describe the feels it's caused me. The ending really finished tied it off but now I have this longing to know what happens to them. I usually hate when people continue something with a perfect ending, but now I'm just really curious as to see what you would put in a sequel.

and yay. you mention the strawberry when the story is nearing the end since i think the strawberry plays an important role in the story.

So fucking antagonistic. God, the feels though Gale seems a bit OOC - just slightly (I don't think he would ever be so cocky).

Gosh, this is so awesome and beautiful and beyond words that I feel I might cry. I love everything about it, even if I usually despise anything negative between Gale and Katniss. It's like they're always hostile, never really happy with each other, yet you feel the longing under their hostility and suddenly it all explodes into something real in the end, and writing that kind of thing well is terribly hard to accomplish. Thanks for this lovely fic :)

This is just utter perfection. Of course she doesn't NEED him but allowing herself to want him, to choose him, is the real freedom. I really, really love this story.

Like seriously, I love the symbolism with the strawberries and how even though it's AU they're still so IC and dramatic and so Katniss and Gale and SO BEAUTIFUL.
