Is it wrong that it is so deliciously satisfying reading Kate interrogating and sniping at Meredith? Nah. Meredith's character is brilliant in that it's hard to get a clear read on her acting abilities/motive as she's messing with their heads. I love how you portray her through Kate's perspective and how Kate's take-away is not to get frustrated, but to be more intentional. Who knew a smorelette could be so symbolic?

I LOVED your dinner scene with Meredith and Kate! I think the end of the episode made Meredith a bit more likeable, which honestly I didn't like. Cause she always seems so conniving and it sorta seemed out of character that they were trying to blame their divorce also on Rick. So thanks for this, I'm happy to hate Meredith )

Gotta say...you two really gave Meredith some character heft with her ability to get Beckett to believe in her stories through having her use the right mix of truth and fallacy to sell it to Kate. I've long imagined that Meredith has a more smarts and skills than it seems on the surface. She knows how to play and be played to score her desires without burning a bridge by going overboard. Fantastic job!

Qi really feel much better about the episode now, thank you for giving me something to hang my hat on with Meredith, and a better idea of what crazy means in her life.

This story made me happier about Significant Others, too. I was not at all happy Kate listened to that red-headed bimbo at the end. The detective in her should have picked up on Alexis' reaction to her mother showing up unexpectedly! Maybe Monday's episode will be better!

Loved this... you got just enough inside Meredith's head that I was intrigued but didn't want to run away, fearing for my life and my sanity! (...and now I'm curious to see if there was a stain on Beckett's pants that I hadn't noticed!)

Excellent banter in both major scenes. I had a smile during that one - the entire scene was adorable. I'd like to think she would like it; gross her out conceptionally, but the taste mometheless.
