I have to wonder why a child is out alone in a warzone! Also is this child on the same side as those who have the Doctor? It sounds like it in which case the Doctor and Loki could be reunited soon.
Are the marking and features of the 'bad guys' going to be anything like Jotun markings? If so that is going to put Loki in to a whole world of awkward.

Huh, "Monster markings"? Interesting! I do like the idea that these two-headed creatures consider the other head a 'sibling', very original. Usually, two-headed creatures always talk about themselves like they were a single entity or something. That said, I hope 'Monster markings' don't turn out to look like the frost giant ridge-thingies Loki has on his face when he turns into his Jotunn form, that...might be a bit of a blow to his emotions, troubled as they seem to currently be. Looking forward to the next chapter!

I have no idea how I came across this story. Honestly I'm pretty sure I was just leasurly playing a game of "click and see where it takes me" on people's pages (a fantastic way to get lost on this site I must say) and somehow came across your story. And I'm sure glad I did!

Your character voices are top notch. I could honestly see The Doctor and Loki in my head speaking as I read. This last chapter especially. Loki's inner conflict from the end of the first Thor movie is clearly seen here. By which I mean that he obviously believes he's a monster who belongs no where and is no one, but while still having, as the children in this chapter put it, the ability to feel regret for his actions that differs him from the real monsters of the world and is something that seems to be taken from him during his time with Thanos (and something that this Loki will never have to live through thanks to the quick thinking of The Doctor!)

As you can see I'm very interested in seeing where this story goes. It very much feels like an episode of Doctor Who, and with Loki as a companion I'm sure the adventures will be grand.

this is interesting, you should continue. I loved the last chapter!

I love this idea that The Doctor found Loki instead of Thanos and the Chitauri. Here The Doctor can have a companion even older and more powerful than him and Loki gets a friend who favors knowledge of brawn. The Doctor can help Loki to find peace, accept his past and help him to value all life forms. Loki can help The Doctor to not feel so alone.
