Not gonna lie, at first I was confused as all hell when you started with that one Empire faction of yours. I was like, I asked for a Halo/Mass Effect crossover not some Warhammer 40k thing, because I didn’t know where this came from. But after the first chapter I was less confused and more like “Alright let’s see where this goes.” Now here I am at the end of chapter 5 watching the Mass Effect universe get curb stomped. Dude, thank you, for actually being smart about how you’re doing your ship to ship fights between the two universes because those statistics easily line up with where they should be if the ships from both universes were to fight. (I’m not including your special Empire faction as I don’t even know how big it is, how powerful it truly is, what they are capable of, what their vehicles or weaponry are like, or if they have some sort of super weapon similar to the UNSC’s NOVA Bombs or the Halo rings. Which by the way, will those get mentioned at all? Or the Flood for that matter? I also understand you did a medical treatment so that humans could live longer in this crossover, but don’t force the Master Chief into it for a character, try to come up with your own Spartan and style him how you want. OC Spartans can be so much cooler. All in all, a great story! Would love to see the next chapter come out soon! I’ve seen no errors with spelling or grammar so far so I got 0 complaints for ya there. Otherwise, maybe add a bit more detail in how your characters look, such as what they are wearing and what it looks like. Color, variations, what they are holding, what is attached to them, hair color, skin color, how they look. Etc. That’s about the only thing I am disliking so far is the lack of details in characters.

Great story so far. It might be best for the UOS to only go after Turian and Bartarien targets instead of the whole Citadel Council for the attacks on their worlds. It would create less resentment, if any at all, from the rest of the Council races. I think.

I've never heard of this aerecantian empire, it's not even mentioned in Mass Effect or Halo, is this story really a crossover? Why introduce such an op faction into this story, is ridiculous with a faction that has such an advantage, it's like these fanfics, mangas and anime where the protagonist goes to the next world and is practically more powerful or faster and smarter than the rest of the characters.

Yes this is the kind of fic I was looking for. A first contact war where humanity takes it all the way to Palaven!
