You seriously think the Harry Potter movies are better than Lord of the Rings?! It's some of the worst casting/make up in book adaptation history! Daniel Radcliff BARELY looks like Harry, they couldn't even be bothered to put some mousse in his hair or something to make it look untaimed, or give him green contacts (despite his eyes supposedly being the one connection he had to his mother)! Then there's the casting of Sirius and Remus, who are supposed to be in their early THIRTIES, yet they got men in the late 40s! Not to mention Sirius' prison tattoos. Where the FECK did he get those, when he was in solitary confinement for 12 years?!

There are great movie series out there, but Harry Potter isn't among them. Star Wars, Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, The Mummy, X-Men. THOSE are great movie series.
