This highlights what bugged me so much about that little episode-ending zinger... They gave Meredith a backstory as unfaithful, then have her come up with that BS line meant to get under Kate's skin... And, maybe the argument could be that *Meredith* didn't have a problem with adultery so obviously that wasn't the reason they split (she almost even has a bit of revisionist history that she left Castle not the other way around?)... But UGH that that got to Kate, despite all evidence that she might want to be the slightest bit wary, and then they don't really resolve it when the solution is to simply ASK CASTLE and get the 'oh, Meredith is either delusional or manipulative, oops my bad' out of the way, instead of letting it seem like Kate it justified in her doubts afterward... took a lot of the rewatchability out of that episode for me.

Loved it ... if only the episode had ended like this.

This was good...in character...with just the right amount of angst...resolved beautifully...

This is good theory about Castle "deflecting" questions about himself but guessing it maybe not be the entire story. Good read tho.

That was absolutely wonderful - your dialogue is always so authentic, I really feel like I'm listening to them talk, and nothing jars at all. And this is really how I like to picture them - really opening up to each other, being *true*, and always with humour and that sweetness, that genuineness that make us love them. Thank you.

That was so good. Loved the intensity of the fight. They were both right and wrong. It felt real and something could see happening. Fun banter at the end and would love to see them play truth or dare.

This was fantastic.

Lanie was the perfect sounding board for Kate and you displayed that very well here. Also, Lanie set her straight about Kate's relationship with Rick and what Meredith had said. The main point of everything was that Kate needed to talk to Rick about his past because that was the only way for Kate to learn about him.

The scene at the end between Rick and Kate was well done because you had them both say want was on their mind about what happened. Plus it was good that not only Lanie but Rick told Kate that Meredith could be manipulative and that's what I believe as well. Also, Rick's reason about Meredith not asking about him was good because Kate could break that comparison easily.

In the end, you had them come to an understanding and therefore be able to work on and improve their relationship.

Loved the truth or dare comment that Kate made and where it was leading to.

I liked it and I would love to see a scene like this where Kate actually asks him about his past. Anyway, awesome job! :)
