That was great! Cheesy ending, but I love them, and I don't like it when people try too hard to end things differently and it ends up weird. Some people do manage it greatly, but not everyone. I've read the whole thing and I'm quite glad, it was super great.
I rarely ever read stories with a high amount of chapters (it really is a chapter thing, because I would read a 100,000 word one-shot) and I rarely review (because I'm addicted to Merlin fanfics and I've almost read all of them, so reviewing would take a lot of time) but your work deserves a lot of praise. It was well written and the idea was amazing.
