I don't know if I could call it 'proud' for Sherlock's wounds... but he has been through a lot - mentally which has triggered those wounds.
I would definitely call John's wounds - 'proud' - not because he got them but because he fought in Afghanistan for his country.

I loved your story, the way Sherlock and John were characterized - heck, I liked your portrayal of Mrs. Hudson, Mycroft and Lestrade too because they felt in character and this was just a short story.

You are really talented, please keep up the good work and write more stories :) Great job! Don't stop writing ever, okay?

I really loved this story. It gave such a positive end to such a horrible past. You really kept John and Sherlock in character while exploring such a dark theme, I really enjoyed it.

beautiful how well you manage to catch the atmosphere of self injury, you describe the pain and feelings well.

Okay, that was perfect. I've read quite a few Sherlock fanfictions where they try and have Sherlock as a self harmer or suicidal or something like that, but usually they just come up with random bad sounding things that are out of character and kind of... insulting, to people who do self harm or whatever, but your story was amazing, and while the ending was very... sappy, and sweet, it was also exactly what someone like Sherlock (in this story, at least) would need to hear, and like, that's what I wish someone would say to me, and just, oh my God, this story is perfect. It's really short, but it doesn't need to be longer, you covered everything amazingly and Sherlock didn't even seem out of character and this is just perfect, okay?
