Hey I'm too lazy to login in but this is the my real username. This piece is fabulous! I especially like chapter 3 and 6, but it's all good. Dick and Batman interaction between Conner is pure genius. The ending is sad, but I love sad endings. Good job on this. I enjoyed reading this very much.

You know, i thought i was going to get a happy ending. Now I'm sad, really sad. I loved it, I want more, and I want a happy ending if you can do it. I liked this writing- the characterization was well done, and I can't help but be highly impressed by the emotional display in your writing. It's really touching and beautiful how you write. That's why the ending was still such a hard blow. They got together but they never really shared a life together... it's tragic, but lovely all the same. Can you please write a happy ending? Oh, oh, I also really liked your use of dramatic irony- how both of them were worrying about the age issue. You're realism to Tim's situation, how he would view Conner as 8 and the logical assumptions that led him to that conclusion was great and i really like it when you can look at a story and go "yep, that could happen" you made it very believable.

Ya just broke my heart, shred it in a thousand pieces, but I cannot make myself feel mad at ya. it was beautiful, a great n' awesome fic, tragic yeah, but beautiful.
