I really liked it, but almost everytime you used "were" it should have been "was" you seem to have a hard time in past tense... I'm only pointing this out because, for me, it was very distracting and sometimes confusing.

I was originally planning to go to sleep at 12am but this made it TOTALLY WORTH IT to stay IP till 1 ;)
