Now I see where the fire comes from, and this is a perfect follow up. Interesting approach, writing what came before it after you've written the end result (if that makes any sense), but I like it. You write panicked and weary Clint / Coulson so well, with good tension and strong dialogue.

OMG...that was amazing,your story's always make me teary eyed! You have a true talent and wonderful inside on how to write story's that pull at your heart strings. I am looking forward to reading all of your stories! ;-)

This was just fantastic! Not really slash but just love, safety, all the things people need from *someone* and Clint's someone is Phil. I was afraid Clint wasn't gonna make it! But the blanket is a sweet touch. Something else Clint can associate with 'safe'.

Thanks for the whumpage! I get that it's a one-shot, and I don't get a chance to read much fic (sigh) so maybe you've already done this, but I'm intrigued by the concept of fire you use here and clint's reaction to it... any thought of doing more of this?

That is exactly my head canon, only put into better words than I've ever been able to. Phil's office, Phil's space is safe for Clint; it's the only place he can relax enough to sleep, trust enough to let his guard down.

This was beautiful. Time and time again, I'll read a summary and think "That might be interesting, I'll think about reading it lat- oh it's a HARKPAD story, I'm reading that RIGHT NOW!" lol
