Awesome story & finding it now is kinda ironic cuz I have had Daniels dark thoughts lately ! I only wish I had all of these great brothers to pull me back from the edge ! McFadden's 4 Ever !

I feel I've just been put through an emotional wringer here. The characterizations are great, and the emotion is just so raw and painful. Well done!

Good story!

This was great. I mean in the way it was written. The subject matter was difficult but you handled it very well. The emotions shined through. I can easily see a young man feeling this way. I now want to go read the other stories you have for 7 brides. I like to write about families too. I have series for the western Paradise.

This was so heartfelt and agonizing all at the same time. So happy that Daniel finally let Adam know what he had heard so he can move forward. Such a feeling chapter. Thanks!

This was wonderful, so glad you explored this topic and didn't take any easy ways out. It would take a long time for Daniel to get back to normal and I felt you addressed that this was just the beginning beautifully. And poor Crane, he is definitely the self-appointed caretaker of everyone in the family and I loved his thoughts at the end. Thank you for sharing.

Thank-you for writing such a compelling, emotional story that never once sold the dark subject matter short. You did this story-line justice and though you left Daniel, his family and *us* with much needed hope, you didn't serve it to us with a trite, tightly wrapped bow. Thank-you for that realism.

Though I loved all these sections and all of them moved me, my favorite part was the one between Guthrie, Daniel, and Crane. You captured Guthrie's voice perfectly, Crane's protectiveness and Daniel's resilience. Bravo.

It was an honor to work on the latter chapters with you and I'm so looking forward to future stories from you!

I loved this story - it was so emotional that I teared up many times when reading it. You did a wonderful job at tying all the loose ends up and finding closure for each of the brothers. I like that you didn't make Daniel's recovery a quick fix, but instead showed that it is a long, ongoing process. I was also pleased with Evelyn and Daniel's meeting - it helped both of them to begin to heal.

Again, wonderful job with such a delicate subject matter. Looking forward to more stories from you.

Wow, this chapter certainly did not disappoint! You did a fantastic job of describing all the emotions each brother was going through. I feel like you nailed the characters and they each reacted exactly as I would have expected. I so much look forward to the next part of the story. Daniel will need to be surrounded by lots of love and support and I'm so happy that Adam finally sees the situation for what it really is and that he was actually feeding it.

Love Daniel's conflicting feelings and confusion and that they all found him in time. Glad he and Adam finally got that resolved, poor kid living not only with the guilt but those harsh words. Can't wait til the next part!
