I just finished reading all 36 chapters today. As someone who doesn't review very often anymore, I wanted to leave my own thoughts on 'A Letter to Her', especially as someone who avidly ships Tomione and has read many, many works centered on the pairing thus far.

Of the many, many Tomione fics out there, yours is definitely one of the better, more well-written ones. That being said, there are definite areas to improve the grammar and sentencing. But as another reviewer pointed those out already, I won't repeat them a second time.

I will say that, at points, the story seemed to be lacking a sense of direction, and flip-flopping quite a lot - especially with Tom's thoughts and romantic feelings towards both Brax and Hermione. I will admit, as someone who is very monogamous in real life - and not a slasher, either - I felt very uncomfortable and unwilling to read about Tom's polyamory and waffling throughout the story. At some points, it felt as though Tom was emotionally and physically cheating on Hermione with Brax, and yet the supposed 'cheating'/'betrayal' - or Hermione confronting Tom about his feelings - never happens, as I feel it should have been. Instead, we have Hermione basically accepting every word that comes out of Tom's mouth, and her acceptance is passed off as "she finds it hot". I feel that Hermione is OOC a lot in the story, especially towards the end and in this moment - I don't feel that Hermione wouldn't fight, or at least stubbornly confront, Tom about his feelings for Brax - and herself.

Additionally, I found myself very disappointed that Brax's wife was introduced, seemingly as a good character, only to have that budding friendship between her and Hermione violently pulled away in the next chapter. Again, that also made it feel to me, as a reader, that perhaps you were unsure of where to go with your story, and retracting Brax's wife was one (albeit petty in my opinion) way to get her out of the picture to appease your TomBrax shippers. I felt that you could have fleshed out her character more and made her more sympathetic, instead of just putting her on a figurative bus, never to be seen again (or dealt with again).

This Tombrax shipper JUST STOPPED CRYING FROM THE BEAUTIFULNESS THAT IS THIS CHAPTER!

Yay, I'm back in the fanfiction world again! And boy am I GLAD! I loved catching back up with this story even though this chapter made me so sad. I love Brax and I hope this isn't actually the last of him. And of Brax and Tom together. You've done so amazing so far and I can't wait for more!

This is so good :) I was kinda waiting for some threesome action :P but I excited about the baby and seeing Tom as a father :D x
