I love this story and series! I love the take that you have - of mental blocks on Loki, instead of mind control or torture. The way Xavier deals with Loki, and his gentleness and love, is so amazing and makes me wish I had a Xavier in my life:-). Loki being so vulnerable, and not knowing why he was acting the way he saw, and being so shocked that Xavier cared about him just broke my heart. You have a talent for doing that! Keep up the good work!

What an awesome twist! Professor X and Loki! Gods, this is amazing. I lovelovelove your characterization of Xavier and how sympathetic he is to Loki. This is precisely the kind of angst I'm looking for. Well written and the hurt/comfort is balanced and why did I only find you now, awesome fic? Why?!

I just spent a few days reading your fic... and it was so beautiful. So full of love. Looking inside someone and loving that person no matter what. It was so touching to see inside Loki's mind and seeing what a fragile being he is and seeing how Charles was able to be there for him, show him kindness... it is so touching. How people get really healed.
Have you studied psychology, because the healing process sounded so real? Loki's inner thoughts in which the words were repeated like "pain pain pain" sounded very realistic and gave a picture of his emotions... I'm so happy that Charles was able to see them and the things that had been done to him that he couldn't speak of... and I love that standing up to the people that silenced him was an answer to get out of the mind blocks... I think that standing up to those things is a way of healing in the real world, too.

I highly doubt that Loki would get the rewards and empathy affirming treatment on Asgard he deserves... ((even if Frigga remains alive)) not from Odin... not even from Thor... and not from the people of Asgard... definitely NOT in his true skin... as a Jotun... BUT maybe not getting the benefits of Asgard's goodwill for saving their sorry asshats... wont turn him back on the dark path... maybe it will just turn him back to Charles...
