I can see in this poem of how really dark their path was although very emotional. Can I ask you something? Is this the one that Squall was saying in Rinoa's supposed to be her final moments.

Such simple words reveal such deep longing and desire.

Wow, this is so beautiful. I'm completely lost for words. I have to try to be critical now, but I don't think it will work… The idea isn't exactly original, but you would have known that when you wrote it, so that doesn't count. The writing is simple and clear, structured well, and easy to follow. The only part that distracted me for a moment was 'spoke unfeigned'. I'm not sure if it should be 'spoken unfeigned' but I'm also unsure as to whether that would mess with the flow of the poem. I'll leave that up to you. The mood suits the poem completely , and the 'voice' is strong. This is pretty darn close to a 'perfect' poem.

I don't normally like poems. Don't ask me why, since I have no plausible reason. But I do like this one, I have no idea why, but it was just touched a chord in me.

That was a really beautiful poem, with such great choice of words. I am not a conoisseur of poetry, but I know what I like, and this piece is a wonderful one.

I'm not really into poetry, but, yes, this does fit Squall's role in the story very well! Wow, who would have thought that one story could have inspired off-shoots, like your poem and my drawing? BTW, will there be any more of Full-Metal Life Jacket? That was so funny!
