Love this idea. The lengths Dean will go for Sam are clear in the show, but they don't always show that Sam will go just as far. Gotta love their self-sacrificing heroic bond and then smack them upside the head for it. I like the inclusion of Ruby and Lilith too, to make it stay on canon. Great job!

Ok first and foremost, let me just say this was one of the best, Sam tries to save Dean from hell stories I've read. The concept, the plot, the way you wrote it alll great. I found this story while searching on google and am so glad that I did. My only complaint is that it was not sooo much longer. Any chance you'd ever write another one with a different outcome where Dean doesn't find out right away and Sam does save him from the deal but at a cost to his health? I can't wait to see what else you've written, this story was a pleasure to read. thanks so much, Nicole. :)

GAH! This story was perfect! I especially love how it ended with the brothers basically saying that they will never stop dying trying to save the other. It's ingrained in their blood. Your stories are always awesome and I am looking forward to the next one. :)

Gah, that was the best ending I love how you wrapped up the story so thoroughly (and with a perfect brotherly moment to boot!) while also showing that they aren't going to stop trying to die for each other - basically, that they're going to keep being stupid and paying for it because that's what winchesters do. Fantastic fic through and through. :)
