I usually don't read modern AU fics of The Hobbit. But I stumbled across this one and thought I should give it a go since I play soccer/football myself. And I really enjoyed the first two chapters. Especially because I'm always in the same position as Bilbo here. Everyone underestimates the little ones.
I also love that, although it is a modern setting, it still follows the original story in a lot of ways.
I don't know if you'll ever finish this fic, but I'm really hoping you will.

I am very excited for the next chapter. I really like your portrayal of Bilbo and Thorin, and the little details from the Hobbit world worked into the modern world. I normally don't go for AU/Modern fanfics for the Hobbit, but I LOVE your story. I can't wait to read more. :)

hahaha, loved the ending there though i was expecting Thorin to get hard before our burglar. it was beautifully done there was nothing wrong with getting hard at the site of your captain. that made me laugh. wonderful story, please update soon

Now I'm very excited for the first game! I'm not a great soccer fan, only watch the world cup now and than, but reading it in a fan fic is something really different! I'm looking forward to the game and the story all together!

Awesome! My two favorite things ever! Tolkien and fut-bol (soccer).I love it! Do you know there is a guy in the MX lige called El Hobbit Bermudes? He is very short and has curlly hair. Hes a good player and he plays in the Club America (they have an eagle as a mascot like the ones in the movie but smaller).

This is really cool. Love the different AU, and I can't wait for the soccer match. Normally, I don't go for modern AU's but this one is really good and has me interested. I loved the Thorin/Bilbo interaction at the gym, it was perfect and hilarious! Can't wait to see what happens at the soccer match! Bilbo will be BAMF! Great chapter, looking forward to the next one :)
