Oh, this is SO amazingly beautiful.

Among things I always look for in FF is characterization and plot premise. I love the way you've done both here. :D Not only did you amaze me with the characterization, I love the the elegance and the turns of phrases you used for the characters, and that's what kept me reading.

There are several places in this story that had me stop and say, "wow, that's brilliant," and I actually, like a well-known character we know and love, said it aloud.

I couldn't wait to get to the bottom of the story so I could review and tell you how wonderful I thought this was. :D

That was FANTASTIC. Loved it loved it loved it. So well written, the final scene was delicious.
The only things I would alter is a bit of white space between the scenes 9I got a bit confused at points as the scene changed) and also to make clear that J and S are AT Baker Street when S gives J his gift-got a bit lost there, too.
