It was so nice to see the Aubrey that would do just about anything to make Chloe smile. They balance each other so well! Chloe calling the baby a possible Wendigo had me rolling w laughter. I'm hugging myself right now because I can't hug Aubrey. My poor sweet Aubrey. Thank goodness for Chloe. Excellent job with this prequel insight going into Aubrey senior. You write Aubrey so well and I love that you construct insightful Chloe w layers and demsions. I'd totally think it'd be cool to see a Aubrey and Chloe parent duo dealing w a sick little one or a morning sickness Chaubrey.

This has all my favorite bits of Aubrey and Chloe in here. Poor Aubrey. This could easily be canon with all the things you included and the details of everything. A perfect explanation of Aubrey. And a great prelude to Chaubrey.

I love how tender Aubrey is with Chloe! And love that you did Chloe in this chapter. I think a sick/hurt Chloe is a great tool to show Beca and/or Aubrey's sweet side- to show that they are multidimensional characters. The next day would be a good scene, maybe both of them hovering as Chloe recovers?

The big question is- are you going to do the ICCA disaster? It's been done- yes, but in my opinion you write Aubrey the best. Not to say that we don't have great Aubrey writers! But I think you would be able to portray just how physically and emotionally draining that even was. Thanks for what you do!
