Ooooooohhh That was so good. Short, but long enough to work into your heart so you feel like crying by the end.
The nails were really funny, and her talking about his eyes. You captured a kid her age really well.
You also caught Pitch's character very well. His reaction to fear, guilt, pain... Really good job.

After all, not everyone can also BLACKMAIL THE FRIGGIN' BOOGEYMAN.

My only critique is that I would have LOVED a description of Jack's face (and also Jamie's) when Sophie says she misses Pitch. 'Cuz I know that was hilarious, and it was extremely unkind of you not to share your head-vision with the rest of us when you wrote this. Extremely, I say.

There's an aching, gaping maw of darkness and sorrow in my chest. It reopens whenever I find such a beautiful story for my beloved Boogeyman. Like this one.
I feel like ugly sobbing or screaming or something right now. I cannot decide. Whatever will help me get through the fangirl feels.

OMG, this is so perfectly written and executed I'm finging it difficult to absord it all. Love the nail part the best, but I can't think that nobody else would have mentioned that, so I will also say "They look like baby suns!"

Really, really great work that is now going into my favorites. :D

This was a really sweet story. Really good. It seemed a bit rushed though, like you could have pulled it into 2 or 3 chapters. None the less though, it was a great story. Well done.
