Super cute! I really like how you brought that aspect of their relationship in so quickly - in that until John, Sherlock had accepted being on the outside, being the freak. I love that moment of utter surprise when John stands up for him though. It really is what connects them.

And yes, I'm trolling your Sherlock fiction. Mwahaha!

That was pretty cute and fun. Very in-character; I could almost hear their older selves speaking through the elementary school (called primary school in Britain, I think) non sequiturs. And Sherlock stretching his lip, that's just so...him, to not be bothered by normal things.

Have you ever read the comic strip Calvin and Hobbes? Sherlock's interaction with the bully strongly reminded me of how Calvin in the strip talks to Moe, a bully character.

Cute. A bit cheesy maybe, but cute. It's always fun to imagine how your favorite characters would have been at a different age. I've been having a bit of that fun myself, lately, come to think of it. :P The only thing I can really criticize is that John's "You would've done the same," seems like an awfully naive statement to make about someone he just met. But then again, he is a kid. Is Mycroft really that much older than Sherlock? #_# I liked how he was playing with his lip in the mirror while he talked. That totally seems like something he'd do. -
