Always loved the lucretia and ashur story line.

Lucretia always was my favorite character, so I quite enjoyed this introspective look, especially after Quintus had died. I'd also hated how Ashur had treated her, and I'd wanted him dead from the moment he first took her, haha.

Anyway, I really thought this was perfectly done, and it really felt like part of an episode playing here. Even though she'd done some awful things, I really loved her. I also always thought that towards the end, she actually felt bad for what they'd done to Spartacus. Granted, he was the reason she ended up where she was, but she and Quintus caused it. I know she often did one thing and thought another and vice versa, but I thought her repentance toward the gods might be genuine.

I really felt for her after Ashur got hold of her, though. She didn't want to be with him but had little choice, and she was bound to do whatever he wanted or face consequences.

I know this is an older piece and I've no idea if you're even still writing, but there were a few areas with misspelled words. If you ever decide to fix this, I could help point them out if you need.

Overall, though, this was a lovely piece. I really enjoyed it. Well done! :)
