until i read your fanfics i never realized how much i loved Shandy stories that start before Sharon took over Major Crimes. I already told you this but I'm gonna tell you again: When I read your stories I feel the sparkles fly, I feel the tension between them. It's amazing. Thank you :)

I adore angst, but sometimes fluffy just hits the spot- and this was perfect. The tension in the early vignettes was just delicious, and then her promotion just took the air out of everything. The finally, the last bit, with her (much deserved!) promotion, and finally, them moving forward together. Wonderful.

I really enjoyed this story! And I'm so glad you decided to post as one rather than in parts :)

I think you captured the characters very well here. Andy is lovable rogue and we see Sharon's layers peeled back one by one. My favourite part (hard to pick just one bit) "He still knew next to nothing about her." I was rewatching some Major Crimes eps and I noticed that Raydor does tell people (mainly Rusty) small bits about herself but nothing too revealing. She shrugs it off and we never get to hear too many details about her so this line really struck me as accurate.

There is something so tantalising about this piece of writing. I think its the boldness in it. Observation can be so intimate, even at a distance. It's so reveiling, and i feel like we've barely peeled back any of the layers of the Sharon-Onion during season one of MC. But you've managed to captured Sharon here perfectly and expand. What makes it so delightful is its from Flynns perspective. Brash, unapologetic Flynn. Oh how we love you.

What was quite sinful was Flynn getting caught looking at her file. Yes Flynn is bold, and likes to ruffle Sharon, but Sharon gives as good as she gets, and their battle of wills is so sinful, its fucking perfect.

What a wonderful insight into these characters. It's a revealing picture of how both Sharon and Andy carry themselves and they're not all that different. I was really happy that Andy's little game didn't cross the line into stalker territory, because it easily could have if it weren't written so carefully. Great work!

I really loved this. You hit on everything I love about Sharon: her strength, her humour, her quirks, her inscrutability. Seeing her though Andy's eyes is always a treat.

This story nearly made me late for work! Yes, it was that good. I didn't want to stop reading. I loved the scene at the salad bar. Flynn's observations about Sharon tell us so much about him. And that is what is so brilliant here. Through the filter/ lens of Flynn, not only do we get insight into Sharon - we get insight into Flynn, too. I love the way you get right inside a character's head. If you wrote the phone book, I'd read that, too! Just wonderful as always.

Oh, I've been waiting for a story from you, you know. I loved every bit of it. And when I say every bit of it what I mean is I normally read a fanfic like: scroll, scroll, flynn, raydor...okay, that works...scroll, scroll...whoa, no way I believe it, nope...scroll, scroll :/ And you write it that way that it would be a shame to miss a sentence.

your story was - as always - wonderfully written with a very firm grip on the characterizations. I loved each and every one of those little scenes you laid out and I can't decide whether Sharon's easy banter with her son or Flynn getting caught reading Sharon's file were my favourite! :-) I also loved how Flynn's interest in her evolves and becomes a little more personal. I love all of your stories and this one just made a rather bad day a lot better!

This is an awesome story. I love the way Andy's interest and admiration grow slowly.

That was so good! I loved you posting it all at once instead of periodic chapters. All of the interactions between Sharon and Andy were perfect. I also liked the bit in the restaurant with Andy and Louie not letting their presence be known and being the sneaky little devils they are so apt to be on the show. The kiss happened just BAM, it was over too soon, I wanted that part to go on and on. I'm a sucker for a good love story. Sharon and Andy are definately my favorites right now! Thank you sooo much for this lovely story :)
