Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed this story. It is heart touching to see Hector and Stephanie's relationship. Love how Hector is working with Ranger to help his wife become healed and happy. I like how you realistically approached their unique relationship. It's wonderful to find this rare pairing and to find out more about Hector's life and character. Thank you for sharing this story.

This is a great story, not what I had expected when it began. I wonder if you ever finished it and maybe never got around to posting? I would love to read more and see how things turned out.

Okay I just found your story & I know where I would like to see it go. St. Valerie & Helen Plum need to lake an appearance. Divorce Valerie is out for Ranger. So with the help of the burg they arrange for Rangeman to come look at their house for security since they've been rob so often. Send Hector with Tank. Allow the security issues to be discussed then have Ranger waiting on Steph when they run into him . or better yet have Ranger with them. Now its them trying to get Ranger from Steph. That will help her to come outta her shell almost completely. At least think about it.

Thanks for this wonderful AU tale of how Steph and Ranger meet. Her marriage to gay Hector was her salvation from a young age. They have been through SO MUCH together. She is just beginning to realize the amount of love and comfort she feels in the presence of both of these caring men. I can see her future growth toward Ranger as Steph becomes aware of how much of Hector's personal love life has been put on hold to save her. She'll have to work through the guilt of that and still deal with the aftermath of her attack & kidnapping. I'm sure Steph will always have a deep friendship with Hector throughout her life, but I am so glad to see her moving closer and deepening her relationship with Ranger.

Good writing. I would look forward to reading any future chapters in this story. Thanks for sharing.

The story isn't to my taste, but I really like Hector [my favorite Merry Man, I admit I am disappointed he doesn't get much activity in the books so I like finding fic about him.] You are doing a good job on the story )

Interesting, not the best way to treat PTSD, but for the story it works)

I can understand Stephanie's fears but I still give both men credit for being willing to help and to put their own needs on hold just to help her.
