The way you put Pitch's evolution, his conflicted feelings, his denials, Jack realizing that he likes Pitch, everything, is amazing. Thanks for writing this.

It shouldn't feel like a chore but something to enjoy and if you write when you're not really in the mood obviously you won't like the results.

I would say please continue the stories. I truly like them and where you are headed. However, I understand the feeling of writing being a chore and losing interest in writing. I can't say I wouldn't be a bit disappointed if you stopped, but you also have to take care of yourself and make sure you are in a good place emotionally.
Don't worry about stopping stories often, a lot of authors do and never come back to them. Its one of the "downsides" of fanfiction, if you will. Of course, us readers understand that when we start a fanfic. In contrast, published authors are pushed by editors and other official deadlines that cause the stories to get written. They get a load of people to help fix what they wrote to make it publishable due to the crap the push sometimes creates, though.
Sorry, went on a mini rant there. Either way, take a moment and think (if you haven't already) "Is continuing the stories worth it?" Is it worth the tears and effort to pile through and get it written? Will you feel a sense of accomplishment and that it was worth it, or do you feel it would only ruin the possibility of coming back to writing, if not the stories, later on?
Whatever you decide, make it into a positive for you. :)
