I only recently came upon Merlin a few months ago (I live in America so I guess it didn't get as big here) and I have loved every second of it. Except, of course, the ending as it was heartbreaking. I really really enjoy your story. You're a very eloquent and creative writer and I think you capture the characters very well. I know this last updated in 2013, but would you consider finishing it or at least updating a little bit more? I really love your work and I need more

This was painful to read at the start, but ended on a hopeful note at the end. Thinking about Merlin suffering more than a thousand years is always heart-rending for me... Great start!

I really like this story. I especially like that you included Merlin telling Arthur about his adventures in Camelot. Most reincarnations fics leave out the fact that Arthur had only just found out about Merlin's magic a couple days before he died. Please keep writing! I would love it if Arthur could ask about the 'I never forget their names' comment, because I really liked that and feel that someone like Merlin would feel guilty about killing anyone, even if it was necessary. Please update soon!

You know, despite knowing where maple syrup comes from, I have never thought of it as "tree sap", though I can understand why Arthur would be looking like everyone has grown a second head.

This is awesome, love it! I finally finished the last episode. :( oh dear, I must have cried a freaking river! That was beauitful and horrid ending!

Oh Jesus. My last review was a comment I left before I read chapter 8 (Apparently you can only review a chapter one time, so I'm just gonna put this comment here - but it is for chapter 8, otherwise it's confusing). And let me just say this; I haven't changed my mind. Are you crazy, I would've wished I could come up with this idea. It's brilliant. Or actually, I would've wished BBC came up with it as a season 6, so I didn't have to cry my eyes out in the last episode of season five. Seriously I'm not kidding. I cried for like the rest of the evening when Arthur died.
A little thing that confused me a bit was that you, in chapter eight, didn't make oblique font when Arthur spoke. 'Cause he hasn't learned to talk proper English (or Modern English) yet. I assume it's just a mistake - and it is human to fail after all, so I'm just gonna leave it there.
And on to the chapter; I love the ending. When he says thank you. It's just so amazing. It kinda reminds me of when he 'died'. There he said thank you too.
I kinda worry about when Merlin is gonna tell Arthur about when Merlin transformed into his older self and tried to heal Uther. I expect, Arthur isn't going to react well to that. He probably isn't going to react well to most of the things, Merlin is telling him (like when Merlin, in the shape of his older self, called him a toad).
I wonder, if we're gonna meet other reincarnations? If we do, and it happens to be Mordred (my all time favourite character - except for Arthur and Merlin) could the boy who looks like Mordred be called Nico, or maybe even better, Nathaniel? THAT could splendid. But if not, it's okay.
And now, I think my review has gotten too long. But fear not, I will be back in a chapter. Or maybe more 'cause I'm really bad at updating on the app and I'm not reading so much on the internet. Peace out, or something like that.

I'd love to see Gwaine appear soonish. He and Merlin were always close. I was a little unsure whether I would like this story but I'm so glad I read it. You're doing a great job and it's making me a little less depressed about the final episode (yes, like you I am still miserable). Even if there's no real reason for Arthur's return, I'm enjoying this immensely. Keep up the good work!
