This actually makes me feel pity for Pitch :O The last line was beautiful, for something so simple! :)

I never thought about it that way, but it makes sense, now that I think about it. Pitch is the essence of fear, possibly as old as MiM (or maybe older), which means he is different from the Guardians. He said that by losing all believers, the Guardians would disappear in the end. But Pitch and Jack didn't disappear since they didn't have any, which means they are different from the Guardians (although Jack might work the same since he's a Guardian now).

It's kind of sad. Pitch really just wants to be believed in but he also doesn't want to be alone. Great oneshot!
