I know this story is like, a year old, but I don't care. I read the entire thing and may I say, it is one of the most heart wrenching stories I ever read.

wonderful idea. sherlock was really nice here, and understanding sentiment.
pretending to be a hallucination and to convince john that way was really cute.

This was painful, in a wonderfully terrible kind of way.

I love this! I love that Sherlock really doesn't understand the sentiment, grieving and desperation but cares anyway. And how even without the "L word" appearing anywhere it is somewhere there, the loving lark. This is the most in-character fic I've read in a while and it made me weep.

This is a great story! I think it should be rated T, not M, but whatever. Still, absolutely fantastic. I like the idea that John thinks it's all a dream in the end, but that doesn't stop it from impacting him and his life. A wonderful story, truly.
