Aw, I liked this! Clint Whump, emotional stuff. It had everything I hope you write more fics like this!

Clint will just never be convinced that he's just as good as the others, if not better. THEY'RE all cheating, using robot suits and super powers, while he's doing it all with his BAMF self. His balance point is so fine that anything can push him off, back to self doubt. Cap beat the heck out of him, and he's fine with the pain, but that one line has him right back to doubting himself.

Aww I love that ending. I'm glad they all managed to work through their issues. Phil feeling antagonistic towards Steve was just sad...

I missed that Clint would have taken that to heart. This was a great chapter. Yeah, Clint sees himself as anything but a soldier type, especially after Loki's little number on him. The whole, I should be better/stronger/tougher than a god bs that he put himself through. So this would have hit the weak spot in Hawkeye's armor. But at least they were able to discuss it, and to realize that some of it was overlap from Phil. Really great point, and wonderful resolution.

And the New Year's off to a good start. I like this one, a good mix of humor and doubt, with good friendship bonding in the middle. Since I started reading your stories just a few months back, you've come a long way, and it shows with each new piece you post. Keep up the great work.

"Cool" actually goes back to the '20s; it was jazz vernacular. So like flying monkeys (1937) it's in Steve's original vocabulary.

Steve definitely has the potential to go all angsty over this, and I mean a Barton level of angst. If Clint can't deal with him, Steve's going to lose it. Interesting that you're having Phil be the one with the biggest problem. I'm very interested to see where you take that dynamic.

I never read a Clint/ Coulson story. I'm enjoying your story so far and I'm interested in reading what will happen next. Awwww...poor Clint he's going to need a lot of TLC from Phil now.

Wow! This is just great. I can see Phil just completely torn about this, and wanting to kill Cap. Nat's probably handling it better cause she's seen Clint in that set of shoes. And nothing bothers Tony. Bruce, having figured out the mystery will dismiss it and care for both of them the same as he always has.

Gahhh! Poor Clint! And poor Steve! Becoming a bully-his worst nightmare.
