You have no idea how much I loved this fic. I stayed up until the wee hours of the morning just to finish it. I adore the concept of House being Chases father figure and you wrote it perfectly. No one was overly out of character, and nothing seemed forced. I do hope there is a sequel. I am off to go look and if there isn't please consider writing one.

I’ve gotten used to the romance stories between them and liked them very much, but this is a great new approach in fan fiction a little closer to What we had on the show.

Still we saw house loving and protecting Chase with the fan fiction classic out of character House. come on let’s admit it OCC House is a tradition on fan fiction stories and one tradition I love.

I wished it was a little shorter. 25 episodes is a little too long but still readable. Just next time try to Keep it to max 15. Reading 25 episodes on s screen is a bit of s torture for the eyes especially if you want to finish a story In one day.

One of the BEST stories I ever read on Fanfiction dot freakin net!

Frankly speaking, I never watched a single episode of House. I'm a Supernatural fan and read no fanfiction but that. It all changed though when I had a day off from work and was roaming through the TV, House was playing and I had nothing else to watch, lucky for me, it was the episode where Chase (who I didn't know his name at that time) gets stabbed. I was so intrigued and watched the episode till the end. Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to watch the episode after that since I had to get back to work, this killed me!

Which is why I decided to check if there are any good House fanfictions that could help me continue on from that episode, and that's where you popped in! I started reading this story not knowing who's who, for a time, I though Wilson was that black dude, but now I know that that's Foreman! But you did all the work for me, wrote and explained the characters as I've known this show for years.

Seriously speaking, your story was so well written I kept forgetting this was a fanfiction! You had me glued to my chair for the last couple of days! I couldn't stop reading! Your plot is just so perfectly well built and written I... I'm just speechless over here. I'm always for a hurt!Dean, but I gotta say that a hurt!Chase is just as amazing!

I keep wanting to write a comment on each chapter but I just get too excited and anxiously press the "Next" button! You have such a way of making me imagine the whole thing as if I'm right there sitting next to House and Chase in that apartment which I grew to love. I can almost hear Chase's wheelchair squeaking through the halls. I can almost hear House fixing the water for Chase right before a shower. I can imagine the freakin ducky. I can taste the food they cook together. I can hear their laughter at the dinner table. I can feel Chase's heart pain and House's worry. I can feel the tight muscles of Chase when he has a hard memory of that bastard! I can sense House's pride as he holds him as he walks for the first time without support... I can go on all day, you've created a world so beautiful I don't even care to watch the series anymore now that I got your story to sulk on.

Tell you a nasty secret, I left work a tad bit early just so I can get home to read! See how much this story's screwing with my head?! Goodness gracious! This story is by far one of the best stories I've read! I've never ever read a story that explores the characters so deeply, whether in a regular at-the-dinner-table scene or whether locked up at some mad-man of a father's house scene! And don't get me started on this protective version of House, it's seriously killing me slowly! As for Chase's pain, I think it already killed me and this is just my spirit speaking. His pain was so raw and delicate and infectious. I almost cried in a couple of scenes, especially when he was trapped in his father's house and tried to pry his way out with a knife, my heart is literally aching right now! Is it too bad to enjoy such angst?! I feel horrible but I'm loving every bit of it! Strange haha.

Okay I'll let you go now before this review turns into a fiction of its own. I just found out that you wrote a sequel, and it's thankfully Friday so I wont feel guilty about work! I was planning to go out with some friends but I literally turned that off just so I can stay home and read this! I love you! You should... You should be queen! And you should consider writing professionally, you have a talent like no other!

Just found this story a few days ago and read it almost every minute of my spare is amazing! Your writing style and prose are superb and your characters are spot on! I am a huge Jesse Spencer fan and loved the whump and bump moments for him. Cannot wait to read the sequel I saw posted. Hoping the stalker is some crazed obsessed female after our beautiful, hot Dr. Chase. On to part 2 to find out. By the way; that would also make a great Chicago Fire story for you to write. Either Heather or a female he rescues from a fire obsessed with and stalking him, becoming more dangerous as het obsession grows. Would love to see that on the show, also!

Hi, I've spent the last days reading this story, I've just finished it and I want to tell you how much I loved it. It's almost 2 am here and I have to refrain myself from start the sequel (I've already downloaded it!) right now but I had at least tell you how much I appreciated it. Tomorrow I plan to read all the chapters of Family Ties (recovering from flu has its advantages) and then I'll leave you a proper review. Good night :)
