You know that music that played in Back to the Future when Doc said, “Damn, Damn, Damn Damn?” Well that’s what played I read, “Jake.”

I think I must have read this one on my phone and fallin asleep which is why I forgot to review for this chapter, but damn this is the turning point of the whole thing. I forgot how much it sucked for tails to have not be able to get to her on the other side of the van when she called for help. Plus its the same chapter tails mentions taking her to his home, gee they happened in the same chapter super sad irony. Also I don't think I ever mentioned it before but I love the artistic subtlety of description in the intimate sections, makes it feel like it has real value in the moment.

I really wonder when she is finally going to just all out lose her sanity... Good grief three hundred and twenty seven.

Reminds me of the Jewish police officers who willingly turned in their own to the nazi regime just to keep their freedom temporarily. Then they themselves were taken away when there was none left, having outlived their usefulness...

Hands down one of the best nightmare like scenarios for a sonic story.

Bleak darkness... futile indeed. Ah well, I did of course enjoy it otherwise. There is always a complexity about this story that keeps it entertaining. Here hoping for her freedom in the next one. :D But I'm kinda afraid to get my hopes up now...

Nice to see her point of view for this as well. Just kinda sad for the lack of communication that is causing tail such stress.

Forgot to mention quite a few chapters back i noticed the realistic way you have Tails 'fly' or hover for a few seconds... That was a neat idea to have them wind up instead of... well honestly there is no logical explanation for how they would spin indefinitely with out ripping skin lol. But compared to sonic breaking so many more laws of physics i don't know whats more insane :p

And damn that hurt to read with Fiona having to put on a realistic show for all the dominion agents to watch.. really feel for tails, that would take a serious amount of patience to put up with. Great drama there!

It would be neat to see sonic help tails out in some way or another but whatever comes i'm sure will be just as good :D

Ahh... makes sense. Gosh this sure has to be one of the saddest/psychotic chapters yet. /Julians experiments are so reminiscent of the nazi eugenics programs. Not often you really think about the depth of evil that goes on within the sonic universe unless to delve into the original comics...

On a somewhat brighter note, its nice to see some positive bonding between Jake and Fiona. Though the cost certainly wasn't worth it. I wonder if Fiona ever figured out he was the same kid from her childhood.
