Although, I’m not sure I like how Jane was portrayed - he wanted to do something to gain back Lisbon’s favor - he didn’t really apologize for hurting her so much, and he didn’t tell her that he would always be there for her, as she would be for him. But you are, as always, an amazing writer. Keep up the good work!

If that was OOC then maybe whatever is considered in character should be considered wrong. I prefer your way.

Aww I loved that! Jane definitely needs to let Lisbon in more. He needs to know just how much she has done for him in the past, how much she cares about him, how much she wants him to be the man she knows he can be. And he needs to realize that he can't push her too far, because then he might lose her, at least for a time.

I wouldn't have ever thought of Jane giving Lisbon the notebook, but it's kind of neat. Definitely a way to show he trusts her with things.

Loved her reaction to his "present". I don't think it was OOC at all. Lisbon is one of the strongest people around, but I refuse to believe that she has never cried over Jane. Especially during and after his stint in Las Vegas, when she had no idea where he was or what he was getting into. And that kind of a show of trust in her must have opened a torrent of emotions.

I hope they did get their kiss at midnight. It looks like they did. :)

Also I keep mentally crossversing the imagined kiss with Millennium's kiss in the X Files, with that line about the world not ending and their stupid cute smiles. Augh, feeeeeels.

Even though it was OOC, I still enjoyed reading this from start to finish. I really wish that on the show that Jane could trust Lisbon more, to inform her when he's doing his schemes or if he's doing something drastic with the RJ case. Wishful thinking I suppose.
