Reviews for The Lost Episodes
supercode chapter 3 . 11/26/2016
Nice story!

I will just state here that, for various reasons, I absolutely hate adultery. I've seen how much it can hurt spouses and families, and I absolutely hate it.

However, I could understand why things happened the way they did with Vinwell, although I didn't approve of all the actions those two undertook in this story. And I did respect that at least Vince wanted to be honest about what he had done. Still, it makes one think. What's to keep Vince from falling out of love with Jamie later and cheating on her with someone else?

Ok, my rant is done.

I will say though, that I thought it was hilarious that Vince's wife got along so well with the woman he cheated on her with. And that, apparently, Dana could forgive Vince for adultery, but not for pretending to be dead in order to protect his family. Go figure. So yeah, that rmarriage was probably doomed regardless of the Vinwell relationship, but hopefully Vince and Jamie will learn enough about themselves, and sageguard their hearts, so that they can stay faithful to each other and not repeat the same old mistakes in their new relationship. I would like to think so, because Vinwell clearly had some strong on screen chemistry on the show.

Sorry for the long winded review. I probaby put way too much thought into analyzing this story, and I'm not sure you even read Cape reviews, but I wanted to say that, despite the issues I just cited, I really enjoyed this story and its prequel. The settings and plot were will developed, and I felt for all of the characters in this, even when they were doing things I didn't agree with. Nice work!

Nice wrapping up of the season one. I like it much better than the actual finale (more of an anti climax than finale). I was hoping for them to somehow find a way to be together and you managed a believable and sweet ending. Although it is still a bit strange for me to think of Orwell and Dana bonding. I guess the normal reaction from Dana would be rejection. Nonetheless, I like the ending and I'd definitely like to read your idea of season two.
Alex chapter 3 . 2/13/2013
I feel I like I got a closure on a season of a show that should have continued. I hope you start a season two, your stories always have details that make it like your watching the show.

At least we got David Lyons on Revolutions, and even that is still a month away!
XxDeathStarxX chapter 3 . 2/13/2013
Very good chapter! I really liked the way you wrapped things up. My favorite part was the first scene. That's what Vinwell is all about :)

Aww, loved the gift Vince gave to Orwell at the end :)
IronAmerica chapter 3 . 2/12/2013
New chapters are always nice. :) Except when they're the last ones, because then it turns bittersweet. So.

Thus proving that Vince is, in fact, a blockhead. *sighs* Orwell had better make him very happy... *shakes head* But hey, in for a penny, in for a pound, right? *waps Vince* So much for going home, you dope. But yes. As long as Orwell makes him happy. And at least Vince is an *honest* blockhead. A very sweet one too, despite other failings. *pulls him and Orwell into a hug* Because they need one. Poor bbs.

Elaine's always lovely to see. Especially when she takes her daughter's news so demurely. *snickers*

And Vince/Dana. Plus all of their issues. At least the split was amicable. :\ :) :/ Hm. *ponders it* But hey, Dana has Jack!

My only issue with this chapter: Not 'nuff Scales. Just sayin'. (I know. More Scales I need to write him. Thanks.)

Lovely end to the fic.

A new chapter! Awesome! :D

You know, the way Orwell's going right now, she'll be very, *very* lucky if Vince ever even talks to her again after his name is cleared. Considering how many times she's lied to him and all, I mean. Because...yeesh. Just... yeah. *winces*

Vince, admit that you're scared of Scales. Trust me. Admitting that you have a problem is the first step to overcoming it. (Like writing an essay for class...)

Also, Scales is awesome. (Don't quite remember how he got out of prison, but I'm sure if I reread the last chapter I'll remember. :P) And I'm wondering just why he was so stupid as to go to Owl Island personally... You'd think he... Oh wait. Maybe Ang was right and supervillains and superheroes in Palm City should be required to wear helmets to protect them from things like concussions. *sighs* At least Vince got what he wanted and Peter will no longer be able to do this crap to people.

Orwell is incredibly lucky. That is all.

No quibbles atm.

Alex chapter 2 . 1/15/2013
Yeah Another Chapter!

I am going through a serious withdraw of David Lyons right now. I think I have watched the Cape over and Revolution, just to get through till March 25th.

I love your stories and hope you keep writing and updating, we need more!
XxDeathStarxX chapter 2 . 1/15/2013
"'You're looking a little distracted over there.' Orwell shrugged, her eyebrow arching perfectly. 'Am I really?' Vince chuckled and got up to pad over to his partner, hands stuffed in his pocket. 'Don't even try that, Orwell; we both know how bad of a liar you are.'" Yeah, Orwell doesn't seem to be much better at fooling anyone than Vince (in the last chapter) :D

I loved the "Confessions" part of this chapter :) The mixture of emotions was just right and you conveyed them nicely. Great work on that part! Obviously Vince couldn't stay mad at Orwell, looking into those big and beautiful brown eyes tearing up. I don't think anyone could.
Troll99 chapter 2 . 1/15/2013
Awwww! So sweet ending! They know it and they admit they're in love. OK, not openly, but ... this was so nice confession that it should have been in the show. If we had the chance to get the 'lost' episodes that is.

I liked this one very much. Although it was quite fast paced in the beginning, everything was still very nicely wrapped up in a good package, with, as already said, a sweet ending, finally revealing them both what they actually feel for each other. Well ... what they feel. Acting on their feelings is a completely different story.

I'm really looking forward to the next episode. Thanks for this story.
Alex chapter 1 . 1/13/2013
I hope you continue on! I read your stories for Revolution and your stories on the Cape have just got me hooked to another show (even if it is canceled).

Keep Writing!
Troll99 chapter 1 . 1/1/2013
Nice start. I might have expected a little longer episode, but it's still very much enjoyable. Things are going to change a lot and I'm afraid that it won't be better until it gets even worse. Dana obviously has very developed insincts for noticing that there's something going on between Orwell and Cape, but still ... she's obviously equally bad at judging people's emotions for considering Orwell to be happy.

I hope that Dominic has some really good plans.
IronAmerica chapter 1 . 12/30/2012
You could try posting to AO3 as well. It's not FFN fans, but still. It's worked for me.

Awwwww. He's a perfect big brother! :D *dies from the feels*

Yes Vince. Your baby sister is talking to your wife. Be afraid. Be very afraid... *evil laugh* Heh. Sorry. Had to do that. But it's nice that Orwell's gotten over the crazy left over from the Lich is and so concerned about her best buddy.

Oh Scales. Your casual violence will never cease to amuse me.

Technically, Orwell, you *could* do something about it... You'd just have to play like your father, destroy Vince's life (again), and be there to pick up the pieces you created. But... I don't think you're that casually cruel. Yet.

Being a lawyer isn't exactly low-profile, Elaine. Love the job, though... Good luck to you, dear.

Lovely start to the new series. Definitely looking forward to more of Dana, Trip, and Scales though. :D

No quibbles atm.

XxDeathStarxX chapter 1 . 12/30/2012
"'Am not sulking. I'm just—sitting here—yeah, that's it.' The brunette just rolled her eyes and sat down next to her partner." Lol. Vince almost had Orwell fooled :P

"'I'll keep looking, okay?' the brunette told him, rubbing his back oh-so-gently." Aww. I like how Orwell tries to comfort Vince anyway she can :)

It'll be interesting to see if Orwell's cover will be blown. It looks almost inevitable after she brought her mother and Dana together.

Good work!
