I like the plot and the style of writing. I was drawn into the story and character interactions.
I was impaitient to find out what would happen next.
But two things stopped me from reading past chapter twelve;
1. the switch from Luetenant POV to Daryl/Merle/Carol POV etc - personally I perder OC POV because it allows me to explore a story along side canon characters but from a different perspective,
2. Daryl/Carol - I can not see either of these characters in a romantic relationship with each other, to me, the bond they share is that of respect, camaraderie, family and shared experience that goes beyond typical friendship towards somthing more binding then romance. They are a reflection of each other, subtly different while share the same core attributes/foundations.
While I no longer enjoy this story at the moment, I hope to return and finish it at a later date. Thank you for writing this fanfiction. :)
