i love this fic so much, at first i thought it was just going to be one of those abused blangst fics (which are great, and i love reading, otherwise i wouldn't have clicked on this one) but this fic has surpassed ALL MY EXPECTATIONS! no joke, no exaggeration, this is one of the best fics i have ever read in terms of story, writing, and keeping-in-character-ness. i love this fic so much. everything about it just works so well! i had a brief moment of "umm" when burt died because i wasn't sure if that was too much stuff for one story but NOPE, it worked out perfectly! the only critique i can give is that at the beginning it seems like an abuse-and-recovery story, but in the end the whole 'recovery' part isn't really touched on. but beyond that, i love everything about this fic! the last sentence, though, oh my gods. i'm just so happy seeing my smol children being happy.

I don't know what to say. It was breathtaking and just perfect.

The only thing that could have made this story better, would have been if Blaine had mentioned in his journal that their wedding song would be 'Come What May'
