Wonderful story. While there are quite a few stories with the same "Lelouch stays in Britannia" theme as this one, they often move in a direction I don't like.
Thus one do far, though, is a dream come true!

I seriously hope C.C appears soon, Code Geass isn't the same without here sarcasm ;P

I think one of the plot points the writers were going to use in season 2, before executive meddling, was to introduce Lilicia. I read somewhere, don't remember where, that was going to impersonate either Lelouch or Zero earlier in the season. As such, I always thought of her as the real female Lelouch; looks, age, personality, that sort of thing.

This story is fantastic so far. All of the characters seem like themselves so fare. I also love that Jeremiah is an important part of the story, not some random guy who pops up every now and then. Jeremiah, C.C, and Sayoko where if not Lelouches 3 most Loyal followers by the end of season 2 next came Suzaku after those 3 I might even put Jeremiah and Sayoko above C.C as once they joined Lelouch they never showed any signs of disloyalty or wavering from his side. I do hope that both of them stay relevent. It will also be intresting to who you make a better pilot Suzaku or Kallen personally I always found Suzaku the Better pilot and the hands down best in physicaly combate like hand to hand or stuff like that. With Kallen coming in as a very very close second as a pilot. For me there last fight in the show proves it, as the 8 Element's whas a far better Knightmare then the Lancelot Albion this was flat out stated, by Kallen if I remember right in there last fight, but for me the fact that it can be infured that he lost on purpose to become Zero for the Zero requiem to take place, but I digress.
I am also extremely interested with what you will do with the Knight of the Round, I know that they are suposed to be loyal to the Emperor and the Emperor alone but come on you know the Nobles and Royal would seek there favor, as they have a special position that came with unique privileges that where special to them. I also hope that Lelouches dosent become the leader of a foreign resistance group like the Black Knights, as he does still live within the Empire and he has already shown love for his own country and its History, he might not agree with everything it does or how it works but he does not hate Britannia it seems in this story witch is a awsome change of pace. What would be cool is of he aided in Britannia taking over the world and then having a build up to a 3 way civil war between Emperor Charles, Schneizel, and Lelouch. Having the Royal Family, Knight of the Round, Generals, Nobles, you the whole Empire splitting 3 ways siding with one or the 3 men to become Emperorof the world, you could then take that and spin it into a ending or take it into crossover territory like mass efect or something.
But what do I know right? Its your story not mine.
No matter what man keep up the good work, its hard to find good Code Geass story being updated still so al be waiting for the next update.
