i liked it. some of your ideas would be amazing if real, but since you wrote thats how you think it happened, there are some things you have wrong.
rhaegar and elia had been married for 3 years at the time of this tourney and rhaenys was already born. soon after the tourney, aegon was concieved.
your reason for choosing elia as rhaegars wife doesnt fit, too. martells are powerful in dorne, but the whole westeros? if that was it, hed choose cersei, but he rebuffed her and sent lord baratheon to look for rhaegars wife in essos. after he didnt found a good match and died, aerys chose elia. it seems to me, his subjects werent good enough, but when some of them had to be, at least it was a princess.
lyannas eyes were grey, she had all typical stark features.
melee is actually one time deal. they put all the contestants together and they fight until one is left - the winner.
rhaegar was good, very, but he was unhorsed few times, usually by someone of his friends in kingsguard. and from what we know about aerys... him jousting?
princes dont have numbers. just like his title is prince of dragonstone or lord of dragonstone. not lord prince.

and rhaegar calling eddard ned? he barely knows him.
