Wish there was more as it’s great

Omg. I don't think I've ever read this before (I don't see a review from me, so I probably haven't), which is a travesty because this is so funny! Draco's wish to protect Snape because he owed him one despite his disgust was so Slytherin of him. And the kiss between Draco and Ginny! *fans self* But the best part was Snape inadvertently helping Draco blackmail Ginny by taking House points from her. Now she CAN'T say anything about Snape and Hermione because then she'd have to explain why she lost so many points. Brilliant!

I like the portrait of Ginny in the opening lines; it suggests such careless beauty and a complete lack of shame that makes sense for a girl who grew up with six brothers in a small house. It's very striking and under the circumstances (no pun intended), it made complete sense for her to "touch [Draco's] person," haha. I thought Draco and Ginny's response to Snape/Hermione was pitch-perfect, given their respective stake in the relationship and the probable consequences if they speak out. I understood Draco's struggle because like him, I don't particularly care for Snape/Hermione, but ultimately, he does care about (or at least, owe) Snape and I think it's very much in-character for him to put aside his disgust to support his professor. The banter between Draco and Ginny was natural and it brought a smile to my face and I thought the conclusion was a very nice touch.

P.S. I'm indebted to you for the line about Lockhart because it's spawned a plotbunny.

It was great the way you worked in the second pairing for Kyla. I was totally not expecting that to be what Ginny was goggling at. Wonder how Snape would react if he knew exactly why they were hanging out there, lol. But it was cruel of you to end it there. :P This is begging for a continuation!

I love how you wrote for your audience, and am sure I could hear Ky squee all the way in Mystery Nation: the second pairing in this fic is a stroke of genius. You had a tough prompt and you did a great job with it. I love Draco's conniving ways and his charm. Poor Ginny will hopefully get her revenge. Nicely done!
