I loved this chapter even more than the first one! I enjoyed the insight into Jessie's feelings and in particular I loved the notes that James wrote for Jessie and the way in which he confessed his love for her. The kiss scenes at the end were absolutely beautiful and Meowth's little interruption was pure gold. xD A really wonderful read that I will no doubt visit again and again.

This first chapter was really great. I really loved the flashback to the time when James realised that Jessie was in love with him. The interactions between the characters were wonderful and I really enjoyed reading them. Jessie trying to hide her concern was so typical of her.

I can't wait to read the second chapter when I get time to do so. :)

(Overall review) Another great story! I love symbolism behind flowers and colors, so this fanfic was a treat. Not only are the meanings fascinating but they are also legit, especially since roses are so appropriate for Jessie and James’ romance. The symbolism provided some vivid and beautifully written imagery. There’s ample detail regarding Jessie and James’ sides to the story, making the romance balanced and convincing. Overall, this is a very lovely Rocketshippy story.

My saying is 'Read and not review is a sin' and I'm going to follow it; I liked this story a lot, it was cute and I think you chose wisely the roses' meanings. Good job!

Well, I thought that this was quite good. Though, I don't know too much about the meanings of them, I have a list of what the flowers mean in floral language. However, I don't have a listing of what peach flowers are interpreted as, but yellow roses mean - decrease of love, jealousy, try to care. White roses mean - innocence and purity. I am worthy of you, you're heavenly, secrecy and silence. Pink roses mean - perfect happiness, please believe me. And red roses mean - love, I love you. Though, I got the list with these flowers from my floral class. Yet, I also noticed that the stuff you put in for yellow roses had the symbolism part, but I don't know about that, so I was just thinking that you might find this interesting. Though, if you want the entire list that I have, just e-mail me and I'll get it to you. Anyway, I really enjoyed that fic. Thanks for keeping it up for so long! _

it's funny how when people have feelings for one another they always seem to dance around the issue. it's equally ironic that usually in these situations it takes a situation or symbol to bring forth one's feelings of love and adoration. this story was aptly named, and i am sure that all who read it can relate, i know that i do!
