I loved this little story. You captured the tragedy of Spike's love quite well as well as Buffy's despair. really quite neat and I loved the stream of conciousness storytelling in this. It worked. Good job!

hmm, i have to say... weird, and angsty, but not so bad. it got a little vague at the end there, and im not sure i understood it correctly, but... yeah. cool anyways.

ps- (random thoughts) did you, in your bio, say that giles is hott? hmm... don't know if i can agree or not... never thought about it that way... hm...

Oh my...so melancholy and haunting and beautiful. And sad! Spike's final gift to her...and Giles anger...and the line "the world wasn't fit to touch her." Beautiful! You really show the dark side of Spike's love. Excellent. -M

oh god. sad. poor spikey. B/S & B/G are my favorite Buffy pairings, too. I'm just curious about what ossessione means- it doesn't quite look like obsession. Is it French? Italian maybe.

che bella! Not bad for a 2 AM rant - those are often the best times to write! :) How dark and beautiful and haunting. I must say that the "B/G subtext" had me a little worried but you wrote that part so smoothly, with room for interpretation. Can I ask if your title draws any parallels to the 1943 Visconti movie? Or did you just choose the title cause Spike's vigil is an obsession? Well done - brava!
