This is a great start for your story. You've done everything very realistically so far, something I can really appreciate when reading fan fiction. Funny that I choose to describe it as realistic when we're dealing with the personifications of countries, magic, elves, and other such things. u I believe the way you've made Germania react to all of this is really great, and it certainly makes for a more enjoyable read. You don't have that many Grammar errors either; no need to apologize!
Another thing I really like; your style of writing helps with imagery, for me at least. It's very easy to picture the golden fields Germania spoke about, or the Elf running from his battle.
To sum things up, this is a very good story so far. You're doing great, and I can't wait until the next chapter! Keep up the good work!
