So I just found your story and reading it after we've seen the loving (and lovable) parents, was a little disconcerting, But I wanted to tell you what a great story you wrote.

So good! I found myself reeling from that twist during 'The Visit' scene; or rather the whole scene, truthfully *phew* what a chilling Mrs. Holmes you got there...

You have again blown my mind. This story while AU makes for a perfect explanation for Mycroft's and Sherlock's relationship. Violet is worse than Moriarty! Beautifully planned and executed.

...This was so messed up. You must have done something right, because while I was ill at ease the whole time, about everything from the mother (didn't like her from the very beginning) to Sherlock's treatment of Mycroft, I wanted to know what happened next. And read this whole thing in one sitting, which is indicative of either a good day or a good fic. Usually some combination of the two.

It was all worth it when the words "I came here to gather information about how best to use that power" came though. I fist pumped. You go, Mycroft.

Now Sherlock just needs to get off those drugs.

And everything will be... okay.

Anyway. Well done, really. Not quite my cup of tea, this particular interpretation of the dysfunctional Holmes family, but I know a good fic when I read one.

That was dark, far darker than anybody's closet corner, but I loved it.

Certainly makes the end scene in ASiP—"And you know how it always upset Mummy,"—interesting. Haunting's probably the word I'd use.

Very clever, plot twists were well done, everyone was in character (if you discredit The Empty Hearse :P) and I couldn't see anything wrong with your syntax. Fantastic! ;)

Amazing story. I'd love for something like this to have actually happened on the show, though -sadly- "The Empty Hearse" disproved it. Well done. Please keep posting.

What a horrible, horrible woman! And poor Mycroft and Sherlock!

This is brilliant. Everything about it. You've got everyone so in-character. You capture the münchausen syndrome by proxy very well; it's very realistic. Sherlock seems so damaged throughout all of this, and I feel so horrible for Mycroft. This was wonderful. You're a great writer! Thank you for writing this. I'm sorry this review isn't very good...I am struggling to form the words to tell you how much I love this story.

Wow, very deep and psychological. And very sad. I'm just comforting myself (even though this is kind of AU) with the idea that John will arrive one day and then Sherlock will be much better.

But still :( You paint a despairing picture. It's very good.
