I really love this story! TAngst is my favourite, and you do it masterfully! I know you last updated in 2014, but I hope you'll come back to it.

I feel like I've read this chapter at least a dozen times before, in various forms - mostly drafts (I might even have read this full chapter before and forgotten until I started it again, if I'm being totally honest), but I still love it to bits. Amy's staunch decision to take her life back even as it's completely collapsing around her is so heartwrenching, and so is Laura and Sophia's decision to stick with her and help her, even if she doesn't seem so intent on fully helping herself. There's something so /vivid/ and intensely painful about the way you write Amy when she's going through an emotional turmoil.

LOVE THIS, MAN.

Dude, the end of this chapter is PHENOMENAL - that second to last line has got to be the most striking line I've ever read in a fic before.

I've always loved how vividly you can describe Amy's emotions - her rage is just so visceral here. I can't wait to see what plays out in the next chapter - hard to believe I've finally caught up, eh? ;D

God, after all this time, I am STILL such a sucker for basic domesticity between them. The little party the Doctor threw for Amy for her birthday was the cutest, but the snuggling had me nearly comatose. I LOVE THIS.

(Also, as a side note, you would have received this review about thirty minutes ago, but my computer decided to turn itself off AGAIN midway through the chapter, so that's that. I plan on finally catching up before going to bed, so if I disappear before that happens, IT'S THE LAPTOP.)

This story is just painful. Amy, so damaged, but desperately/determinedly holding on by the skin of her teeth. The Doctor, equally desperate to fix her, completely out of his depth. That's the thing about the two of them, they care so much about each other, and it's beautiful but at the same time so unhealthy. From my perspective, Amy's choice is the wisest she could make, even.

And we're only on 2 of 5... I have a feeling this is just going to get even worse before it gets better, but for now I have no idea how the Doctor's going to get out of the current mess.

It's been quite a while since you posted anything. I assume Real Life happened. But anyway, I hope to see more of this. Painful, but this -should- be painful. With the hope of things eventually getting better.

Well now that was an emotional roller coaster if there ever was one :) Wonderful story, I particularly enjoy that it is very logical - the tv show jumped over these issues just slightly too easily for my taste and your view is more realistic. Hope you continue writing the story soon!

This story you've got here… wow. Just wow. I was in tears at one point. It's so intricate and the characters are very true to their canon selves while managing to adjust a little to the elements of this story. Excellent. Can't wait for the next update.
