Now that I think about it did anyone ever tell Harry they loved him? Even if they didn’t say it in dialogue, did the books ever mentioned that someone loved Harry? Not just in a half-joking manner but truly mean it. Excuse me while I go cry...at least we have fanfiction for happier moments (I’m also pretending that Sirius didn’t die and this fic seems like he isn’t so that’s good)

If I would change one word in this one shot, it would be: Sirius roared with laughter to Sirius BARKED with laughter.

This is absolutely fantastic. I have no other words.

But for now Sirius was content to spend as many good times with his surrogate son as he possibly could, learning about his first two years of school, which couldn't possibly be as bad as his third or fourth, and feeling content in the fact that his Godson had at least two normal, moderately Dursley-free, years of school before he started on his adventures.

Er... sorry about that, Sirius... you're about to get your mind blown to bits. Not so normal if you think of the three headed dog named Fluffy and a giant spider named Aragog... I don't think he's gonna be happy with Hagrid either after the Norbert story.

this story is so awesome I super duper love it ;)

i really loved this story and the best part was when Sirius asked the rhetorical question question and harry took it for real that was very deep and nice

and i liked the ending when Sirius thinks harry had two normal school years he is soooooooo getting surprised
