I love the idea that the wind protected Jack from Pitch. I mean, I was always wondering if Pitch never felt Jack's fear and sadness, but this chapter sort of explains why Pitch doesn't want to get close to Jack again. I also love the point of view from Pitch

Ah, poor Jack wasn't talking about the Wind... Guess Wind didn't realize that. It really seems unfair that Autumn gets little helpers while Jack is all alone though. But maybe he was supposed to create his own helpers and doesn't know it? Or maybe it's just a quirk of Winter, I dunno. Winter is truly different from the other seasons, so it makes sense that Jack is treated so unfairly, unfortunately. Just not fair though.

That's a great idea! I especially love this I know Jack referred to the Wind as a person, almost, and despite the fact that Jack was basically alone for 300 years, he always had the wind, so making it a character and forming the relationship they have is awesome and creative. And you did so excellently with the first chapter, with the idea of the Wind being his protector! Brilliant. Keep it up, please. :)
